Creative Dinners evolved from The Hilldrop Artistic Takeover. Since March 2023 they have provided a family-friendly zone, developing in response to the needs of local residents. The project has been funded by the Islington Food Fund, Hedley Fund and the Cripplegate Foundation.
"Creative Dinners" run at Hilldrop Community Centre and provide a welcoming space where 5 families, invited by local schools, foodbanks or Bright Start, come together weekly to cook healthily, share a meal and participate in fun, creative activities.
Families will learn how to prepare fresh, nutritious meals that are quick, easy, and economical to tidy up, encouraging accessible routes to healthy eating.
